HIGH VOLTAGE DEFENSE RETURN POLICIES AND GUIDELINES
As with any product there is bound to be a defective one in the bunch, just in case below are our return policy and instructions.
Upon receiving your product it is important to inspect the product(s) to insure the product(s) are in functioning order and are not defective. This especially holds true for any self defense equipment, you never know when you made need it.
Once an order has shipped it cannot be canceled.
All returns, refunds, or exchanges must be approved by High Voltage Defense before any products can be returned.
Do not send back any product without obtaining a valid RMA#. We do not accept any returns that do not have a valid RMA# on the packaged product. Failure to follow all guidelines below will result in the packaged product being sent back to customer.

NOTE SPECIAL RETURN POLICIES APPLY FOR HIDDEN CAMERAS, SURVEILLANCE EQUIPMENT AND ALL OTHER HIGH TECH PRODUCTS.
Due to a few bad apples ruining it for the rest, we’ve had to implement a stricter return policy for the above items.
All returns, refunds, or exchanges must be approved by High Voltage Defense before any products can be returned.
We consider all of these products to be special ordered items by you the customer, once shipped orders cannot be canceled.
All requests for returns must be made within 5 business days of customer receiving product. No returns will be authorized after 5 business days of receipt by customer.
Do not send back any product without obtaining a valid RMA# (Returned Merchandise Authorization). We do not accept any returns that do not have a valid RMA# on the packaged product. Failure to follow all guidelines below will result in the packaged product being sent back to you the customer.
All returns must be authorized by High Voltage Defense before product(s) can be returned.
Due to the nature of our product line, returns will only be accepted for products damaged upon shipment to the customer*. All products must be returned in the original packaging. High Voltage Defense will replace, refund, or credit your account for returned product(s) at High Voltage Defense’s discretion.
*Special exceptions may be made on a case by case basis determined by High Voltage Defense. In this event, returns are subject to deductions for shipping costs and a 25% restocking charge and must be returned within a five (5) day period from date of receipt of product(s). NO refunds will be given for products returned without explicit permission from High Voltage Defense.
Any return must be authorized by a representative of High Voltage Defense and under no circumstances will returns be accepted otherwise. Authorization (RMA#) and shipping instructions must be obtained from High Voltage Defense. No returns will be authorized after five (5) Business days of receipt of product(s) by the customer.
SHIPPING & HANDLING CHARGES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

Videos and DVD- Cannot be returned unless defective. Replacement DVD’s will be the same title as the defective one. Once again we cannot ship out any replacement product until we have received the defective product first.
Mace and Pepper Sprays- Once opened all sales are final on mace and pepper sprays, unless product is defective we will exchange it. No refunds or exchanges on non-defective products with opened packages.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
We test all our products before shipping although that doesn’t mean there won’t be any. You may return most products within 30 days of receiving product. Any longer than 30 days you will have to refer to manufacturer warranty.
You must still request a RMA # by contacting us. It’s best to do this within 5-7 days after receiving product in the mail.
Upon receiving product it will be checked for defects, if deemed defective item will be repaired or replaced and sent back to you at no charge.
However if we find the product to have no manufacturer’s defect, but is defective due to customer’s misuse of said product we cannot accept the return. You will be notified of non acceptance of return and can request one of two things 1)Have product returned to you at your cost for shipping or 2)You may request at that time for us to dispose of the product for you.
EXCHANGES
All Exchanges must be authorized by High Voltage Defense. If authorized you will receive a RMA #. You may exchange the product for a different product. Be aware if the new product cost more than the original purchased product you will be billed the difference, although if said product is less in cost than that of original purchased product a store credit will be issued for the difference.
NON-DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
You will be charged a 25% restocking fee, the customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to High Voltage Defense.
All non-defective items and product(s) being exchanged must be received by us in re-sellable condition with all original packaging, accessories and accompanying literature must also be in the same condition it was when you received it or you will not be exchanged and your item will be sent back to you. If you lost something that goes with your order, you cannot return it.
NOTE REGARDING DEFECTIVE, EXCHANGED, OR RETURN PRODUCTS:
REPLACEMENT PRODUCT(S) WILL NOT BE SENT TO YOU UNTIL WE HAVE RECEIVED ORIGINAL ITEM/PRODUCT AND HAVE INSPECTED IT.
GUIDELINES AND POLICES FOR RETURNING MERCHANDISE
Failure to follow guidelines and policies will result in product being sent back to you.
- Requests to return product must be made within a 5 DAY PERIOD after receiving the product(s) HIDDEN CAMERAS, SURVEILLANCE EQUIPMENT, HI-TECH PRODUCTS ONLY.
- Contact us by email in the appropriate time frame depending on the nature of your product (most products you will have 30 days) Include your name, order number, order date, address product was shipped to, daytime phone number, and the item you would like to return. We will contact you with a valid RMA# (Returned Merchandise Authorization) that is required to return a product(s).
- Clearly write the valid RMA# on the outside of the package visible to the eye.
Any package sent without a valid RMA# will be sent back to you.
- You must include a note inside the package explaining the problem; also your name and address will need to be on the note.
Returns received without a note will take longer to process.
- All non-defective return items must be received by us in re-sellable condition with all original packaging, accessories and accompanying literature must also be in the same condition it was when you received it or you will not be exchanged and your item will be sent back to you. If you lost something that goes with your order, you cannot return it.
HIGH VOLTAGE DEFENSE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING CHARGES INCURRED IN SHIPPING AN ITEM BACK. ALL FREIGHT CHARGES ARE TO BE PREPAID AND ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER.
