Is Campus Security Really Good Enough?
21 Jun 2010
Our 18 year old daughter just graduated from high school and will be attending college in another state. Her mother and I are thinking about her personal safety while she is away at college. After some discussion with her mother, my brother, the grand parents and with the help of the TV show 'Gene Simmons Family Jewels' we decided to buy her a Taser C2 from the High Voltage Defense personal Security Store, in hot pink of course. The one thing we agreed on is, a Taser and campus security, although very effective, would not be enough for our daughters safety and survival while she is away at college.
Am I saying that campus security is not sufficient at preventing crime? Certainly not, they unfortunately can not prevent all crime at all times. The college safety kit and a Taser will definitely increase our daughters chance of surviving her college years, even when campus security can not be there to protect her.

What about her safety on campus? The campus security do not allow students or faculty to carry Tasers on the college grounds. I guess only criminals can have weapons on campus.
What we found at the High Voltage Defense Personal Security store this time, is the Ultimate College Safety and Survival kit made by SafeFamilyLife . It has a door stop alarm for her dorm room, motion alert alarm, an electronic pocket whistle alarm, different varieties and sizes of personal defense sprays, a book diversion safe for her valuables and more. The kit even comes with manuals, DVDs and articles with tips and instructions on how to use everything for her very own ultimate safety and survival plan. Sounds like a perfect fit for our daughter.
Now with a high voltage taser C2, pepper spray, and the pocket whistle alarm, we feel more confident about our daughters safety off the college campus. And with the detailed product manuals, instructional DVDs, alarms for her dorm room and a small safe for valuables this really is the ultimate college safety and survival kit.
